I’ve just sold my signature link to Chris who runs Big Web Links Directory and after I’d had a look at the site I decided it might be an interesting resource to those who read my blog.
 Some of the keypoints include;
- - All links are permanent
- - The site is being very heavily promoted to deliver both traffic and link value for listed web sites
- - Category options are affordable and excellent spots are available.
- - For those interested, the top 10 bid listings are shown on the homepage and the top 20 are shown on the top links page. These are very prime positions.
- - All listings include a details page with an additional link back to the submitted site.
- - All links are 100% search engine friendly.
This definitely looks like it could be another successful directory along with Site Sift, Aviva and the Alive directories. Well worthwhile getting a link while they are still at a good price!
Big Web Links Directory is a search engine friendly web directory that offers a unique approach for directory listings. Instead of sorting listings by popularity, Page Rank, or alphabetically, the listings are sorted by listing bid amount. This allows webmasters to easily control the position of listings in the directory. For example, if a webmaster wants a listing to be on a category’s first page, the dollar amount can be adjusted to the amount needed to achieve this goal. Listing contribution increases take immediate effect. As an additional benefit, the top 10 listings are shown on the homepage, while the top 20 listings are shown on the top links page. A listing details page dedicated for each listing is also provided, which makes a total of 4 links possible in the directory.

What exactly is this website for? I know it is not a web design company … if it is, please get back to school… I don’t mean to bash. I’m just pointing out that the custom web sites of yours are well, not so custom. The Fish website is a phpBB Board, that is it. If you have better work, please post it. The work you have posted is, well, disgusting. Stop thinking you are a designer and further your skills please.

If you had actually read the post “The Big Web Links Directory” is not my site and consequently it’s erm…. well, it’s a web directory. If your comments were aimed at my own website perhaps emailing me with your comments would have been more appropriate.
Although your comments are a little off topic the fish website is my wife’s site and I only added it on the portfolio to give the site a bit of traffic/ PR weight. I personally thought anyone looking at the website banner on that site would be impressed enough to at least want to order a banner from us. Yes, it’s a PHPBB forum - which is what she wanted. Nothing wrong with that. If you’re looking for custom designs on that site then visit the site again in 3 - 4 months. 
Your last 2 sentences reek of jealousy. If the work is so disgusting why have we got so much work on at the moment and if your website is so good how come you are posting pointless comments on another designers site?
One thing I’m always happy about receiving is criticism about the work we do as it helps us get better so if you do have any views on the sites we’ve done please do email me as I would be happy to hear from you.
